Artist Statement
His work is inspired by the arrangement of objects inside rooms of Black communities in the post Apartheid. He says the objects we use in our daily life speak a lot about who we are and our progression in the materials we choose to live with.
The absence of human figures in this painting is defined by the choice of the material that occupied this room. He specialize on painting as his medium of expressing his idea which is a liquidity medium that he associate with the qualities found in humans since we all born from liquid.
